I can’t say enough good things about green smoothies! They are the easiest and fastest way to load your body with nutrients and the amazing health benefits that go with it. This magical green elixir is alkalinizing for the body, increases digestion, repairs and nourishes your cells and will leave you buzzing with energy for your day as well as on fire with mental clarity. If you’re new to green smoothies ease into it and start with one glass a day. (Will last 2-3 days in fridge). Try adding it to your morning routine and watch the magic happen!
Make it Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
4 cups filtered water
2 cups spinach (organic is best)
2 cups romaine lettuce
1 banana
2 apples (I like to pick a granny smith and then a sweeter variety like a pink lady – but doesn’t really matter!)
½ – 1 lime squeezed
¼ cup mint
1” ginger
¼ of a cucumber (optional)
Directions:
- Put everything in blender and blend!
- Put in fridge to chill and then enjoy!
